Situated just outside Lauriere and nestling into the valley, this beautiful lake is generally very peaceful outside of the peak season. Clean sandy beach and grassy areas with plenty of shade for picnics. Monitored swimming area. A small cafe open during July and August. There is a waymarked path around part of the lake which takes in the ruins of the ancient village of Monsila. There are pedalos for hire, a crazy golf course and good fishing on the quieter parts of the lake.
