Situated around 1 km. outside Ambazac this beautiful lake has sandy beaches and grassy areas. The swimming area is monitored. There is fishing all year around, and much of the lake is dedicated to this activity. There is a cafe for refreshments. This lake does have a camp site and is very popular so it can get busy during the peak season. Horse riding and pony trekking available at the local equestrian centre.
