The Limousin is also known as 'the land of a thousand lakes' and
wherever you are in the region there will be one close by. Most are bathing
lakes with clear, clean water and often with sandy beaches. We have included
a small selection in our "Guide to the Lakes" pages which range
in size from quiet spots for a picnic or swim to those with a whole range
of water sports facilities.
